You are not required to provide the personal information that we have requested, however, failure to do so my keep our representatives from being able to assist you with your questions or speak with you about your account. The questions that we may ask of you are intended to provide you with the highest level of security and protection of your Personal Health Information and mitigate the possibility of any sharing of unauthorized PHI and adhere to your privacy under HIPAA. As a business associate of the hospital where your bill may reside, we are legally bound to handle patient data in a way that satisfies the HIPAA POLICY.

M2CreditCare takes the security of your personal information very seriously. M2CreditCare protects your personal information during transit using encryption such as Transport Layer Security (TLS). When your personal data is stored by M2CreditCare, we use computer systems with limited access housed in facilities using physical security measures such as key-code encryption methods.
M2CreditCare may update its Privacy Policy from time to time. When we change the policy in a material way, a notice will be posted on our website along with the updated Privacy Policy.

- M2CreditCare may collect a variety of information, including your name, last 4 digits of SSN, birthdate, medical information, insurance information, mailing address, phone number, zip code, email address, contact preferences, and credit card information.
How we use your personal information
- We may use your personal information, including date of birth, to verify identity, assist with identification of responsible parties before speaking about the account in question.
- We may also use personal information for internal purposes such as auditing, data analysis, and related to ensure that the account holders information is accurate.
- It may be necessary − by law, legal process, litigation, and/or requests from public and governmental authorities within your state or country − for M2CreditCare to disclose your personal information. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that for purposes of national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance, disclosure is necessary or appropriate.
