1. Can I pay more than the agreed upon payment plan or pay off my M2CreditCare balance early without a penalty?
Yes. There are no penalties for paying off your balance earlier. Paying more will reduce your total interest and term.
In addition, if you pay off your balance in full within the first 30 days of enrolling in M2CreditCare, there are no interest or fees.
2. What is my security code and where is it?
The security code is unique to your account to assist with identification and security. It is located just above the dotted line of the tear-off section of your M2CreditCare billing statement.
3. What is my interest rate?
The interest rate is different depending on your provider, payment term, and initial balance. A document is shared with you at the office of your provider giving you the available interest rates and terms. Once you have opened your M2CreditCare account, your monthly M2CreditCare billing statement will show your current interest rate in the top right hand corner along with other pertinent information related to your bill. 4. Can I see my payment history?
Absolutely. Payment history, interest paid, remaining balance, and other details appear on your monthly billing statement.
5. Can I set up a monthly draft?
Yes. Simply call our customer service department at 800-230-6875 and we will be happy to assist you.
6. Who is M2CreditCare?
M2CreditCare is a service selected by your hospital to give you an option for long-term payment arrangements that include interest in order to help you avoid collections.
7. How is my payment applied related to principal and interest?
Every payment, no matter the amount, is applied as follows: Late fee (if applicable), accrued interest, and then principal. If your payment amount is less than your agreed upon minimum payment, you will pay more in interest and you may be assessed a $25 late fee.
8. Can I use my HSA or FSA card to make a payment?
Yes you can. Simply visit our pay site and follow the instructions on how to use your HSA or FSA card for payment
